ok, guess this is what is called a vanity. Not sure because this is my first post. So give me a break ok? WE are now down to 4 candidates. Here is how I see it. There will be no surprizes for anyone who has read my posts.

1. Ron Paul. A true fiscal conservative that I would vote for in a heart beat if he had a clue about our enemies and how much they hate us and want to destroy us and our way of life.

2. Mitt Romney. All he has to offer is that he really, really, really wants to be President. Well, good for him. The problem is when that is your sole motivatiion, you will do anything to win. It is sickening. I can not vote of this man.

3. Rick Santorum. A good family man, and an above average Senator for PA. A true second tier candidate any field (except the one we have.) He is a fair communicator and fair debator. I will vote for him, if he is the one. Can he win, I doubt it.

4. Newt Gingrinch. A flawed candidate with a lot of (known) bagage. I happen to believe they all have past sins, it is just his are really out there to say the least. Newt can articulate the conservative message better than anyone since Ronald Reagan. I hope he wins.

5. A brokered or contested convention. This will insure an establishment republican. I know many say Rick and Newt will put their delegates together. I will have to see that to believe it.

Anway thanks for the entertainment. I will try and make better and more thougtful comments in the future. I will not post another thread for a long while. He's a n00b, and he misspoke. Some of us have assumed that he meant that this was his first thread, or his first vanity, confusing those things with plain old posts.

I would not judge that to be a lie.

The gentleman also has a good sense of humor, and he's a good sport. He asks questions and stays with the thread regardless the flak he's taking.

Contrary to a lot of differing opinions, I think vanities are the best part of Free Republic. Keep 'em coming. Freepers usually make 10 times more sense than the paid punditry and all of their schemes, agendas and allegiances.

ok. :), and for those who think that I am a Rick Santorum hater, I really am not. I do think he has been exalted by a group of people who desperately do not like Mitt Romney, and are looking for a savior. He is not a savior, just a good man. And maybe someday a good President, I don’t know. I am listening and I want to give him a chance. I have just always loved Newt, warts and all. And I still want him to win. You will find that I will be an a huge supporter for Newt. You see, I remember Ronald Reagan and his young luetinent Newt. I don’t have to have people tell me what happened, I lived it. I know what the man is capable of, both positive and negative. I also know great men often have great flaws. (Like not being able to spell or liking the ladies a little much). Newt is a sinner, not a saint. But I do believe he is sincere. Having sinned a few times myself, my greatest family value is Grace and Forgivenss. I believe in those things, and it is a good thing. I NEED THEM desperately. And brother Rick might have transgressed the law a time or two as well. I am pretty sure he is not Jesus. I hope to comment some, well maybe a lot.
