Yes, what the commies like to call "progressive" is just the opposite: regressive. They would take us back in time to the Russian Revolution, Lenin, Stalin, etc.
For the entire duration of the Soviet Union, the American Communist Party was an arm of the Soviet government. There are hundreds of documented links between the two.
