Not defending the state trooper or the couple but until you get an actual determination of the facts under oath with some perjury penalty potential then this is nothing more than a ‘he said’ ‘she said’ type confrontation. I could believe either side of the story if it was so determined.

As far as what actually happened, you are correct. I suspect it will be tried in court, not the press.
