I'm rapidly reaching the point that Bristol is no different than Billy Carter or the Rodham brothers. She's just using a different medium to rake in the $$$.
Nothing illegal about it, to be sure. She's using her celebrity status to rake in the bucks, just like Paris, the Kardashians, or Snookie.
They do seem sweet, they and the Palins became close friends during DWTS.
“Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey are not dating, despite a rumor started by the National Enquirer saying the two were a couple and that mom Sarah Palin was furious about it.
According to a report from Rumor Fix, the notion was just that—a rumor. This begs the question of why Sarah Palin was even pulled in to any of the mess to begin with.
Could Sarah Palin and her supposed argument with Bristol over her ‘relationship’ with Kyle Massey been created in an effort to make Sarah look bad? She is, after all, about to embark on a tour of historical sites that culminates in New Hampshire, with what many people expect will be her announcement that she’ll run for president. Did someone start the rumor in hopes that she would come across looking bad for not liking the fact that her daughter Bristol Palin was dating a black man? One has to wonder about these things, and the evil seeds planted where adversaries want nasty weeds to grow.
Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey are simply the best of friends and are working together on a new reality show. Kyle Massey’s mom, Angel, had the following to say about the situation.
“They are not dating,” she says. “They’re good friends. I understand the media wants to push sales or whatever, but no, they’re not dating.”
She went on to say that her family and Sarah Palin’s had forged strong bonds when both Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey competed on Dancing With the Stars.
“Both of our families gelled during Dancing with the Stars. Sarah would be in the audience cheering for Kyle, and we’d be in the audience rooting for Bristol. We all became close,” she explained. “The Palins are really funny, nice and genuinely warm to us.”
And isn’t that what people should hope for? Instead of fighting between mother and daughter over a relationship that doesn’t exist, there are two families who enjoy the company of one another. Shame on the National Enquirer for printing the ugly rumor, and even bigger shame on whomever gave them the idea to do so”
This will not end well!
For the record, you beat me by about an hour...but that’s because I was away from my desk. LOL!
I asked the mods to put an end to this thread but so far the punching match goes on.
So you think the 20 year old should turn down solid, high paid TV work and a good shot at a high paying career, and go back to Wasilla and resume her receptionist job?
I've had enough trouble trying to defend her appearance on dancing with the stars, and now this........
Like it or not, name recognition is everything in Politics and the MSM is going to have a field day with her which will ultimately carry over and reflect on Sarah Palin. That's reality!
Nothing good is going to come out of this, she should have quit while she was ahead.
I spent 10 summers in the Phoenix area. I remember many a summer where the low temp for the day was in the high 90's. You mean the secret is to get out before it gets even hotter.
UH, OK. I guess that you were not merely being mean by trying to spread fake rumors about Bristol, now I see that much more is going on with you.
Why not get a job near her house in AZ?
I've got a better idea for Bristol: she can create and market a microbrew called "Mama Grizzly Beer". It's an idea that's already worked for another entrepreneur whose brother once resided at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Reality shows will eventually die the same death as disco.
Sounds sinister, just what is "this" exactly before we all condemn it.
Gee, I dunno, 100% maybe?
What’s wrong with being a receptionist?? Is it something to be ashamed of? Working an honest job, living a quiet life, raising one’s child with the help of family while being open to finding a husband for oneself and a father for one’s child...What do you find so repugnant about that?
You mean move to the house that her brand new TV career has already paid for? Why walk away from the chance at a lucrative, exciting, career?
They are nice boys from a good family.
What were you implying?
LOL, I never said anything negative about being a receptionist.
Why would a receptionist that accepted a shot at a couple of months work that made her several hundreds of thousands of dollars, and revealed that she had TV appeal, turn down the offer of her own new series, and a major step into a career that makes people wealthy, and is exciting?
5th time is even less funny
Heaven knows many families have children who have been difficult and uncaring. I am simply pointing out that it is a shame for Bristol and her family that she is not more sensitive to what perceptions she is creating and how she opens the gates for criticism with her decisions. That is my opinion, to which I am fully entitled.
I do not mean it to be an argument, I call it as I see it. I do not think that becoming pregnant while still in high school is just a "mistake," it is against God's rules. As a strong conservative, I don't believe in sexual relations for teens. However, I do believe in the forgiveness of God and of people and had hoped Bristol would learn from that and go on to be more careful about her life choices. I do not feel that moving in with two guys, while she has a small child of her own to raise, is a very positive choice for anyone.
Good move Bristol. Makes sense to rent it out if you’re not living/working there. She bought that place cheap and the rental market is hot right now.
Bristol never married, never divorced, I am not aware of any dating by her except for the father of her child, you keep describing her as moving in with a couple of guys, implying that it is for sex, and that one of them is her boyfriend, and that Bristol is some kind of man hungry tramp, and then you tell us all about you being a good Christian after spreading that filth about another person.
It is a television show with a nice set of brothers that the Palin family bonded with on DWTS, and that the network thought they could create a series around. Bristol is not dating the boy, they are all friends.
