Pretty 16 year old Brooke Ann Coats had a passion in this life.
The above is the FIRST sentence of the article.
Was in hurry and did not consider this 'first' paragraph being 'last' per excerpt. When I went to 'cont.' just dropped few lines down to 'her parents signed waivers'. . .too fast and My Bad for mixing the puzzle pieces.
(But thanks; good to know it WAS in first sentence, where it belonged.)
Yes, thought this WAS first paragraph;but in any case, it was 'my' first clue/cue, that this girl was too young to be riding bulls for sport. (Yes, horses AND cars are 'big and powerful' too. . .so the reasoning would go. Still, this bothers me.
Many people die every day, how many die doing something they absolutely LOVE? Brooke Ann did. . . .She smelled the bull, felt his power underneath her and was loving every minute of it. Would it have been easier, more PC or less heartbreaking if she'd been killed in a car wreck on the way home? No.
Don't know about family; but for sure, this is a Lib writing a sad obit and trying to deflect or alleviate what naturally follows.
