Many people die every day, how many die doing something they absolutely LOVE? Brooke Ann did. I'm sure her adrenaline was pumping just before she got on that bull. I'm sure there was a part of her that thought "this is the one I'm going to make 8 seconds on". She smelled the bull, felt his power underneath her and was loving every minute of it. Would it have been easier, more PC or less heartbreaking if she'd been killed in a car wreck on the way home? No.

You’re merely extending the false argument of the author.

Haven’t been to a rodeo in forever...
I do know that most bulls get butchered and not buried or left to rot.
Though I was reading the other day about an operation in West Texas that composts large critters and whatnot for , well, compost...
Most steers are sired from bulls on cow-calf operations. My family has such an operation. And we sometimes EAT THEM! (eeek!) We generally have a red or black Angus on site.
I have seen very little instance of rodeo bulls around here in East Texas being used to sire calves.
Like I said, I am not a rodeo guy, but I do know the animals have a good quality of life.
And I know krankor is an agitator...

No, your attitude is quite clear, you're a PETA candidate all the way. No question about it.

"Go put a strap on a bulls nutsack."
Clearly, you've never been around the rodeo circuit or rural life. There's no cinch strap on a bull. They buck because they're mean as hell and want the rider off. Do some research. Cinch straps are for broncs.

I think you're on the wrong board. You may want go over to the Rats board where they do this kind of personal attack and name calling all the time. Usually happens when they feel they've lost the arguement.

There’s a few people on here who really lose it whenever anyone is concerned an animal should be treated humanely.

For those who have been there, no explanation is necessary.
For those who have not, none is possible.

Paragraph one in your link says, 'the bulls just naturally buck"
?
Paragraph two says 'there are incintives to make them buck with flank straps'.
And paragraph three says it all:"Despite what you hear from certain 'animal rights' activists, this strap does not induce pain, it works off of pressure, just like a lead chain for a dog or a bit in a saddle horses mouth."

I got better things to do than go watch a rodeo, nothing against rodeo, its all of the George Strait look alike/wanna be cowboys that make me wanna puke...
I did ride a bull once... Wish I had the pic. I had a beer in my hand, his name was Warsaws Big Sky( we called him Big Guy) he was very gentle as far as bulls go... Loved to be petted and you could ride him as long as he wanted to walk...
Like I said in an earlier post, momma cows are way meaner...

Thanks for posting that for me: you can lead a krankor/psychobunny to water, but you can’t make him drink....
I remember reading somewhere that when the cinch strap finally stops working ( breaks them, if you will ) the bulls go to the sale barn...
