Girl Dies Bull Riding. VERY RARE ACCIDENT

Many people die every day, how many die doing something they absolutely LOVE? Brooke Ann did. I'm sure her adrenaline was pumping just before she got on that bull. I'm sure there was a part of her that thought "this is the one I'm going to make 8 seconds on". She smelled the bull, felt his power underneath her and was loving every minute of it. Would it have been easier, more PC or less heartbreaking if she'd been killed in a car wreck on the way home? No.

Anytime a 16 dies its tragic. But come on people, she and her parents made the choice.

She died doing something she loved and sadly her parents will have to live with their decision for the rest of their lives.

Move on!

Like you never approach a horse from behind. They are a prey animal and spook real easy.

Any animal of that size and smaller can kill you...Never walk between a mother cow and her calf...she'll kill you too...My girlfriend raised black angus...she had a new mother in the open area of the barn and made the mistake of walking between mama and calf. Mother cow charge her pasted her against the barn wall, backed up to have another go at her, but lucky she got out of that area of the barn...30 years later her thigh on one side remains concave. Such was the damage to the muscles of her leg from mama cow...

People that grow up around such animals know under certain circumstances you can get hurt or killed. This young woman knew what she wanted to do and did it..... She said it was entirely her fault, just didn't think when she moved into the area. MaMa was just being mama.

God bless this young girl and may HE send a measure of peace to her family...

nobody would have survived this accident, not a boy and probably not a man either...

maybe some would like their children in child restraint seats until their 21....but a society grows strong, confident leaders by letting their children grow up,not hide...

I always vomit in my mouth a little when I hear that. Like when the 12 yr old motocrosser died here and that's the first thing his parents said.

Are you familiar with why the law defines the concept of statutory rape? It is because CHILDREN under a certain age (varies by jurisdiction but usually 16 - 18) are not concidered mature enough to judge the consequences of their actions. Same principle here. CHILDREN are not usually wise enough to make life and death decisions appropriately. They do stupid things - thankfully most of the time they get away with it. Requiring safety equipment like a padded vest and helmet for underage rodeo riders seems like common sense to me. Under 18 wear the equipment over 18 do what you want. The fact is that children are not as competent as adults in making these sorts of decision.

but a society grows strong, confident leaders by letting their children grow up,not hide...

Society doesn't grow anything by letting children kill themselves.
