Actually she got pretty badly beaten up for agreeing to speak at the convention but she made her critics look pretty silly when she used her speech to condemn same sex unions, same sex adoptions and the lifestyle in general.
I saw her give a speech about a month after the convention and she still shows up on the talking head circuit so she hasn't gone anywhere.
