Reagan and Washington, yes; Lincoln, most definitely NO! Jeff Davis was an honorable man, but never should have been elected president of the CSA; he was not up to the task.

I’d call Jeff an honorable man in his private life too. No matter what side we’re on in this unending dispute it helps keep perspective that most of the people we disagree on the other side, like Lincoln or Jeff, were upstanding private citizens.
