PALIN: “Teach both. You know, don't be afraid of information. “Healthy debate is so important and it's so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both. And you know, I say this too as the daughter of a science teacher. Growing up with being so privileged and blessed to be given a lot of information on, on both sides of the subject — creationism and evolution. It's been a healthy foundation for me. But don't be afraid of information and let kids debate both sides.”
She has said in her first book something along the lines of that she doesn't think evolution alone is sufficient to create mankind from an ape without the direction of God, or some such.
Not a very pro-science view for the daughter of a science teacher, but apparently the Alaskan GOP is very pro-Creationism and thinks it should be taught (despite such being patently unconstitutional).
THat was from a fake blog that had a bunch of made up things that were supposed to be things that Sarah Palin said. She never said that or anything like it.

I didn't know Palin had the position that BOTH should be taught in the public schools.
That concerns me.
Should we also teach the Hindu version?
Religion should be taught at home, at church or at private schools...not the public schools.
