HAVANA - The conservative Tea Party movement, credited for a recent Republican resurgence in U.S. politics, is moving the United States towards fascism, Cuban leader Fidel Castro said in remarks published on Thursday.
Speaking to a group of visiting students in Havana on Wednesday, Castro called his powerful neighbor a ruined nation "on the road toward fascism" thanks to the Tea Party, which he derided as an "extreme right" movement.
Castro, 84, communism's most visible living figure, led Cuba from the 1959 Revolution until he stepped down for health reasons in 2006.
His brother Raul is currently the president of the Marxist nation.
The former Cuban president heaped scorn upon the upstart Tea Party movement led by conservative political darling Sarah Palin and several other insurgent politicians bent on upending the political establishment and "reclaiming" power from the President Barack Obama and his Democratic party....

Facism is not a “right” movement. It is just not as “left” as socialism. It is not on the side of liberty and freedom, which is “right”
“Fascist” is just what Commies call people they disagree with and who oppose the communist version of “peace” (i.e. oppose communism).
Fascism is socialism. Sooo Castro old buddy, how can that be?
Libtards make their own definitions.
Well there you go.. Fidel is Not more stupid than use to be hes pretty much the same...
Fascist is just what Commies call people they disagree with and who oppose the communist version of peace (i.e. oppose communism)
Yep, an edict of Stalin’s at the second international. “If it isn’t pure communism, call it fascism”
Oh, that is right. I forgot to consult Libipedia. They do have their own “living document.”
This administration is fascist in almost every regard. The lone exception is that Obama doesn’t often describe America as being superior to every other nation. But then again he is seeking to nationalize everything (including our bodies) so I don’t think it would be to unfair to categorize him as a nationalist. At least in as much as it can segue into his globalist agenda.
The really funny thing is how often the phrase “the third way” has been creeping into the lexicon. With almost the exact same meaning it had in the 1930’s . . . even if what they used to call national socialism they are now calling “state capitalism”.
That is exactly right. Fascists are big government advocates with a slightly different flavor. Fascists are "left" wings. The opposite of freedom and liberty.
Great Rule: Go in any direction Castro opposes.
To a commie, hell is fascism.
To a free man, hell is statism, regardless of whether it calls itself communism, fascism, or democracy.
A tyrant is a tyrant .. PERIOD!
Left or Right or Sideways or InBetween or whatever -- *ANY* polit who seeks to impose restrictions on God given freedom while basking in their own plunder, is, dare I say it -- a Tyrant.
Fidel gets no pass whatsoever on this, no matter his 'age' ......
Fidel is never going to make it as a standup comedian. He needs to stick to his day job as the world’s #1 fascist dictator.
Shrivel up and die you old Communist bat.
Fascism is a system of nationalistic, oppressive, military government dictatorship...
For example, like Cuba.
