i’m not ashamed of them. i have chosen to work in an office where there are people that will likely look down on me. and knowing that i would end up in an office, i chose the positions of my tattoos around that.
i love my tattoos, and most people don’t have a problem with them, but some do. i recognise that and don’t force my opinions on them.
but i also work part time in a bar, and you can be sure that they’re showing when i’m there.
When guys at work proudly display their new tattoos I try to fight the temptation to respond “Oh how cool, my grandmother has one just like that”.
