Thanks to boxsford for a healthy response to my article on Iranian.com. IRDC is the most anti Islamic Republic of Iran website, banned by the Iranian government because it exposes the many crimes of Iran against it’s own people, never mind the fraud it is perpetrating in the world. So I am by no means islamic, shiite, or a sympathizer of the regime.

That being said, I think many who overreacted to my article which was in reaction to another fraud I observed, namely the Beck ratings raising ploy, and Palin’s glom-on wannabe, moneymaker, and 2012 moves.

The fault in my opinion lies at the feet of what I called “White America”.

It is utterly dumbfounding to me that in a model of democracy, the White majority (85% of the US is still white in spite of what you think you see in the inner cities), has abdicated it;s involvement in voting and politics, allowing the kinds of policies we have seen, especially recently to get past scrutiny, never mind stopping them from their disastrous path.

My piece was a wake up call to what could happen when you let the Becks, Palins, (and now apparently the Rove’s) govern the roost. In my opinion, as an objective un-tainted outside observer, these cock-a-doodle-doos have nothing in common with what is simply the right thing to do.

But they do remind me a lot of how back home in what used to be the “Good Iran” Khomeini, Rafsanjani, and Ahmadinejad betrayed the Iranian people with promises and fakery that ended up showing nothing more that contempt for the people who merely wanted freedom from an oppressive (US puppet) Shah.

Just as Iranians then were “played”, I noticed the same deja-vu familiar body language of lies, and false promises of Beck and Palin posing with strategically sniffed sniffles and alligator tears of pseudo-patriotism. Rove’s recent comments, literally spun my head and took me back to an almost exact similar comment by a politician who was later executed by the right-wing-extremist faction who finally took power in Iran, as soon as Khomeini died and could no longer block them. Yes, Khomeini in hind-sight, was the moderate cleric!

Additionally because white America has been asleep at the wheel, things have become all to easy for immigrants who as you can see in California if you take a driver’s test in over 15 languages, don’t even have to learn passable English. When I go to a store owned by an undoubtedly hard working American dream seeking immigrant, if I can’t understand what they are saying, it is me who must apologize, or be embarrassed. WTF?

Instead of taking the reins and guiding the immigrants who are flocking to the US because of the continued bad US foreign policies (you allow by being silent) that makes staying “back home” impossible, I have seen a xenophobia build up against immigrants. Which in a post Hitler, Apartheid, Khmer Rouge, Balkan ethnic cleansing world, is utterly retarded. Never mind un-American. I keep waiting for John Wayne to walk over and punch someone out for beating the Apache who dared ask for a drink at the bar!

Here is an example of the kind of conservative thought and pragmatism I am suggesting, namely that Sorry, we cannot afford (fiscal conservatism) to print 17 different versions of a driver’s license test, so you need to take a class (Good for English language business growth and job creation) and learn the language of your new home, if you want to drive or run a business in the US.

This is an example of my call to you guys (assuming most here are conservative and part of the majority white who I claim have been asleep since Reagan).

Barring this kind of “NO we can’t afford that” and others like it, from the 85% majority in the US, the only alternative I suggested was that you are all going to have to learn to love lamb.

Yes it was said with a lot of disdain, and not too little irony.

Hope this clears my point up.

You have a very, very strange point of view, bozkuhi. It resembles that of politicians who consider much of America “flyover country”.
