Bruce Behrouz Bahmani lives and writes in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in the U.S. in 1961, he moved with his parents to Iran where he lived until he was 18 . He left Iran in 1979 after the revolution. Half-Ghashghai, half-German, he attended Parthian and Iranzamin schools. In 2005 along with 2 Parthian school friends he grew up with reading American comicbooks in Iran, they created the “Rostam: Tales of the Shahnameh” American comicbook adaptation of the stories of Rostam, Ferdowsi’s hero from the Shahnameh. Bruce wrote the very first issue the epic tale of Rostam & Sohrab. Bruce has been a regular contributor to Iranian.com since 1997.
