He was accepted as eligible by each of the states when he was certified for inclusion on the ballot. This was ratified by the electors when they cast their ballot for him. The VPOTUS (Cheney) certified him as the winner of the electoral contest. The Congress accepted this result. He was sworn in by the Chief Justice of the U.S.
Not a single Constitutional Officer, elector, Member of Congress, or state election official challenged Obama’s eligibility even though the birth certificate issue was certainly known.
I’m sure that you don’t like the outcome of this little drama. I certainly don’t, and it clearly demonstrated that our political system is not serious about ensuring compliance with Constitutional eligibility requirements. But that’s where we are and until someone with standing can bring a challenge, that’s where it will remain. I don’t think that such a challenge can be made until the 2012 election cycle.
Pretending that it is otherwise is folly.
This is circular logic. Obama signed a self-declaration of eligibility to get on the states' ballots. The electors didn't 'ratify' eligibility.
And...All of these people can point to the moon and insist it is made of green cheese. I suppose you would believe them.
