A Tale of Two Cities (Springfield, ILL & West Chester PA

Without suggesting an outcome for the upcoming trial of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, lets take a look at some obvious parallelisms. In Illinois the Governor is indicted and impeached for DISCUSSING a MONETARY quid pro quo in exchange for the appointment of an individual acceptable to the current President for his former Senate seat. In Pennsylvania (prior to the acknowledgement by the administration of tea party influence)when the president was still entertaining the fiction of a 60 vote filibuster proof senate, current Democrat nominee Joe Sestak is by his own admission (on several public occasions) offered by the administration an IN KIND compensation for a job as Secretary of the Navy; a Deal with the Devil offer when proposed to a former three star admiral in the U.S. Navy.

Both deals we can say now never transpired due to the deals having been made public in one form or another. What is apparent is that Barrack Hussein Obama is the common denominator and, in at least the Sestak offer, a participant in the offer since a cabinet level position such as Secretary of the Navy COULD ONLY be offered by the President of the United States.

The case against Blogojevich has the same players and is really the same type of case - an exchange of a Federal Public Office for compensation. A CRIME!!

There appear to be a disconnect with fact and fiction when dealing with the repeated reports by the press on the brilliance of Obama and Emmanuel. Rahm couldn't be that smart if, as I have heard over and over that the government is for sale and that people exchange "stuff" for position all the time.(this is another thread, later on)Rom Emanuel in the two cases in front of the public failed to have Jessie Jackson jr. appointed to Obama's senate seat; and failed to give Arlene the clear nomination which was promised when he changed parties. Both transactions according to the NEOCOM?Socialist press happen every day of the week (no big deal, nothing to see here; go to work, pay your taxes, and SHUT UP!)

Lets not over estimate these(obama,emanuel)textbook examples of deranged psychological neoteny!

Since I’m from Springfield, IL and it was also where Obowma started his rise to power in the state legislature.
Then announced at the Old State Capitol came back in August, 2008 after he won nomination and still hasn’t paid Springfield for the bill he is owed for security.

There really is no difference in the issues with the exception that Blago wanted to get some cash for is expanded state health care plans as a springboard to run for Pres. Sestak up until this point has not said that only offered a position.

I appreciate your on the ground perspective. One point is obvious, there is finally the start of a pattern of behavior here.(Blago should latch onto this as a possible foil.
