I think the fall and coma just made the old man realize he could die at any moment and maybe its time to sew a few wild oats while he still can. Its his money, he earned it and if he wants to waste it on whores that is up to him.

I have to agree with you on that...its his money and unless they can get a court to determine he’s nuts, the family shouldn’t depend on getting any inheritance.
