Ah yes, a choice between death and eternal bondage and forced labor for life. Yes, I can see the compassion just dripping from the second half of that choice. </sarcasm>

Then choose death. To recognize the truth does not create a sarcastic moment. It is what it is. Obviously, many people have chosen life over death and accepted a slaves life. If this did not occur then there would have been no institution of slavery. The logic is cold and hard. Deal with it.

So we should accept wrong, because it's always been done that way.... Got it.

The logic that the end of slavery in the US came because the Confederacy got its ass kicked is also cold and hard. Deal with it.
