I’m sorry, but morality is more important than “liberty.” And I’m afraid I much prefer Puritans to loose-moraled, bourbon swilling Episcopalians.
No it isn’t. Morality without freedom is nothing more then obeying your betters. You should know better. As for boubon swilling I plead guilty, Episcopalianism not guilty. BTW, Bourbon was another cultural contribution to America from the south. You may thank us.

Exactly. Morality is obeying G-d, Who is indeed better than us. And His laws are the only laws. Eighteenth century enlightenment secularism, which so influenced the Jeffersonians, was a forerunner to the revolt against G-d we find ourselves fighting against today.
As for boubon swilling I plead guilty,
"Wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging, and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise." Herbert Hoover forever! No lottery! Should I refer you to your local WCTU chapter?
Episcopalianism not guilty.
You're one of those Baptists who doesn't recognize other Baptists in the liquor store?
BTW, Bourbon was another cultural contribution to America from the south.
So am I.
You may thank us.
Ditto.
