You people truly are shameless. You can go to the Congressional Globe archives and find every word of every debate of every session of the confederate congress. You can go to the OR and find an entire series - 4 volumes - of nothing but documents from the confederate army. And there are thousands of confederate documents in the other 60-odd volumes as well. And yet you claim that the Union destroyed all the confederate records they could get their hands on. You can't even lie well.

During the Congressional Post War hearings the Confederate ordnance chief Colonel Josiah Gorgas had too testify from memory on the number of cannons made .etc. do to a lack of documentation.
