A lot of people think that his proposal is the reason why Cleburne never rose any higher in the rebel ranks. I think it was only one of several strikes he had against him, the other's being non-West Point and an immigrant and Irish.

Oh, and tonka truck, one more question; In the above statement are you referring to Confederate Rebel’s mindset in the singular, or are you referring to the mindset of all Confederate Rebel’s?
