You’re correct. However there are in fact two doctors on the main birth file—one doctor delivered the baby and one doctor signs the filing. I don’t remember anything about the guy who signed the filing and it might very well have been Ang’Awa.
The doctor who delivered is a woman who worked for the British British Colonial Service.

I think Ang'Awa may have been one of the doctors on the certificate.
I have never seen a clear enough copy of the certificate to be sure but I think the woman doctor is not listed there. The evidence she was there is secondary from the Christian group but there is also communication indicating an effort by the Republican Senate campaign to get information from her which was rebuffed.
You have no clue why she was there or how she got there but this all happens prior to independence of Kenya and at a time when the place the Hospital is located may have been under administration separate from the main part of Kenya.
