All the more reason to go public if this is a well known journalist.
Not to dismiss the life of Lt. Harris but he was unknown to most Americans. If this journalist is a household name, comes out swinging and something happens to him/her that would bring complete credibility to what people have claimed all along, Obama is playing thug tactics. In fact, if the person is well known enough that would most likely give defense against attack.
Our founding fathers put their lives, liberty and fortune on the line for this nation - now we worry a station may have their license pulled. Is it no wonder we are in the situation we are currently in?
I agree with you. To me, publicity would be the best defense. There’s no guarantee an “accident” can’t be arranged.
I have held jobs where I have been threatened & I do not back off. I invite them to take their best shot. What would I do if my kids were threatened with harm? I can’t answer that unless it happens. I am not in the public eye, making millions in my job. If I was & I knew they could destroy my career & my ability to earn a good living for my family, what would I do? No one can answer these questions unless we are in that situation. If I owned a news station, millions of my dollars, billions of investor dollars,many thousands jobs, all at stake on one story, what would I do?
Remember when bozo first took office and appointed a new head of the FCC? (Sorry I don’t remember the name.) I do remember him (the new head) saying he wanted to bring back the “Fairness Doctrine.” That would be a death knell for conservative talk radio & conservative cable news. When the news tanped down the negativity in bozo, that threat was dropped. He can shut them down & they know it.
They do see what has happened & is still happening, with all the court cases, Congress, the DOJ, etc. They are scared.
