Quite frankly Wiggy. I don’t believe that Lavender BC is real. So I don’t have to look. What I do believe is that you are a troll. And I also believe that you are much less than honest.
Okay, in the interest of assuaging your stunning confusion. Here it is step by step.
1. Punkster sent me the TIF via e-mail.
2. I tried to upload it to Photobucket so I could post it to FR. But Photobucket will not host TIF files.
3. I saved it as a JPEG and uploaded that to Photobucket. That is the image you see there. It is coming from Photobucket’s server, not from my computer.
4. I uploaded the original TIF to a free file hosting server, also so I could make it available to FR. That is the file you can download. It is coming from the file hosting site’s server, not from my computer.
Get it yet? It’s pretty basic stuff.
So where in the above explanation of the exact sequence did you cover your earlier statement about finding a copy online in spite of all the broken links? Care to add that into the picture?

Optimising images for the web is a tricky business. You have to get the right balance between filesize and picture quality. It is an essential step though. Look at any webpage, and you will see that most of its load time comes from images. Your website will be needlessly slow if you don’t drop the sizes of these images.
There are three key areas where bytes can be shaved off your graphics: bit depth (number of colours), resolution, and dimension. Here I’m going to show you the practicalities of web graphics optimisation, and less of the technicalities. You don’t need expensive graphics editors to compress the sizes of your images, as there are plenty of free utilities and shareware that will do the job for you.
Which format:
•JPEGs should be used for photographs and blurry background tiles where little of the intended look will be lost by the JPEG’s compression. If a graphic needs to be accurate or sharp, stay well away from JPEGs. Just remember, most people would rather have a slightly bigger download than a messy graphic, so try not to sacrifice too much quality. Sometimes a nice effect can be had from compressing an image as a JPEG — mess around and see what you can get. Again, for big images use the progressive option when saving for the apparent speed-boost it causes.
