Thanks for the informative article.
I guess DeMint is choosing political expediency over a conservative by hopping on the bandwagon of Romney, instead of Palin.
That’s very discouraging for a conservative to choose the RINO vs. Palin for 2012. A big letdown by DeMint.
It also explains exactly why DeMint wasn’t given any money. Since DeMint has chosen Romney, Palin will need a SouthCarolina politico to help her in an early GOP Primary state.

Good Morning.
I agree, this doesn't bode well for DeMint, as I see it supporting Romney is not only foolish but an exercise in futility, the only asset Romney has in his quixotic quest for the presidency is his money, and John Connolly proved that just isn't enough in 1980.
I keep coming back to a potential presidential candidate that would literally have to be drafted as they've shown no interest in political office but they are by far one of the best qualified leaders with integrity and honor that I've ever seen.
As StephenJohnBanker said, I don't dislike Sarah Palin, far from it: I agree with many of her views, but we do her no service if we rubber stamp everything she (or her PAC) does. In any event, my choice for President if I had my druthers?
