Depends on who runs... I will NOT vote for a RINO either...

And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. Romans 3:8

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Romans 12:9

I will support what my heart deems sincere to these principles as the Lord in his grace and Holy Spirit gracefully show me.

It is evil to support an evil candidate "that good MAY come"..

If that means writing in a candidate instead of voting for the two on the card, so be it.

To all
Before one goes third party one should make the effort to go to local GOP meetings and either back conservative candidates for party leadership positions or run themselves for those positions.
One of the things that has always irritated me about the local GOP leaders in my area are the number of “business people particularly local building contractors” who are simply there to massage the “system” to keep local government contracts flowing. They are not there because they believe in conservative governing principles. I think are biggest problems come from GOPers who spend too much time in office (2 terms 12 years in the Senate & 6 terms in the House is plenty !... and you have to sit out at least one term to be re-eligible!) One Newt's many bad decisions was remaining in the DC area after his "fall". He should have gone back to Georgia or back to his home state of PA. Recalibrate himself back in America, he could have ran his "conservative group" from fly-over country given today's communications.

I haven't bothered to investigate but I wouldn't be surprised if that is what this is all about. He is preying on any suckers he might be able to ensnare that might part with a few bucks.

Here in Iowa, he is involved with a gullible "third party" candidate for a very important House seat. We had another gullible candidate for governor very stupidly endorse this "third party" candidate before it is known if a real Republican intends to run.

This particular race can be very important as to the future of the viability of the unions in this state. If the current Dim (who voted against the unions) does not run for reelection and we have a liberal RAT, this can have a profound effect on Iowa's economy. There is more at stake here than just if some "third party" puts up a candidate.

It could have the same kind of profound effect as those 3000 stupid "third party" voters in MN who may be responsible for changing America's economy if the RATS get their socialized medicine passed. Again, one more vote changes everything.

Yes, and we all know how conservative and responsive to voters the GOP was in 1975.

Did the Beltway GOP types have a lot of incentive to change in 1975?

Was party leadership responsive and principled in 1975?

So, there were no RINO candidates on the ballot in 1974?

You’re dead on about getting involved on the local level. Too many people are sitting on the couch watching Glenn Beck* and thinking they’ve done enough.

*No slap at Beck intended.

“Any prospects of doing that are all an illusion.”

BTTT. This is just more Rush mouthpiecing for the RNC boys. Anyone remember him carrying water for Bush I after his little stay in the Lincoln Bedroom? Such a fine “conservative,” that Rush. Except when it would be useful, of course, such as, say, before the primaries start—when he could endorse a conservative, plug them on his radio show, and get one the GOP nomination. Instead we get ol’ Rushbo showing his yellow stripes, and stuck with Bush the Elder, Dubya and McCain. But he’s a real take-charge kind of guy when the Rats are running the show, ain’t he?

Limbaugh does more to promote conservatism in any hour of his show than you have done in your life, and that would be true even if the libelous bilge you’ve posted here matched up with reality.

This thread RINO FREE AMERICA PROJECT By Request (Warning, graphics intensive.), andFree Republic's Rino Free America Project, are exactly for this purpose. We are also on FaceBook at RINO FREE AMERICA PROJECT.

The whole initiative is to get the GOP's attention. We want Conservatives to run, we want them supported, and if they are NOT, we will send our money directly to Conservative candidates.

Conservatives didn't run from the party. the party has been taken over by small r republicans and we will not stand for it anymore. This is a war. Help us fight it.

In my lifetime, Ronald Reagan has been the only president I was proud to call my president. Other Repubs such as our last Bush, I knew were not true conservatives. All his so called “compassionate conservatism” did was slide the Repub party further to the left. I didn’t like his brand of mediocre conservatism - if it could even be called that - but it was better than the alternative.

But we can no longer be content to live with such mediocrity. In my opinion, it is now or never. The community organizer has pushed everything to the breaking point. The very survival of this nation is at stake.

If we drop the ball now at this critical juncture, the consequences are going to be terminal. So what do we have in this critical situation, when every election is decided by razor edge margins? Enter Glenn Beck, Ron Paul, Alex Jones, and the third party’ers.

Their divide and conquer campaign has the potential to bring down this country. This is the worst possible time to be supportive of a third party. I say let’s send the Rino’s home, let’s get to work and elect real conservatives.

Love your post. It is full of wisdom and common sense. I'm glad to see the quote by Reagan. I know that when he decided to run for president, he went to the RINOs first to get them on board.

The interesting fact is that he never compromised his principles--he got others to compromise theirs.

There is a heck of a difference and this is the way to advance an agenda.

I am in wholehearted agreement with your sentiment. Sarah Palin is a force, and we should start NOW to let the small r republicans know that we will not allow Sarah Palin to be dissed in favor of RINOs. Last election, we got jammed and jammed but good. We start NOW so that it doesn’t happen again.
Rush is right, as usual...but we got to light a fire under these guys who are sooo condescending to us great unwashed Conservatives out here. They take us for granted. We can’t allow that anymore. The Hoffman experience, regardless of what they say, sent a message to the republican party. We can’t let that message die and we can’t let them go on with business as usual. There is too much at stake.
