On my first and only pleasure cruise I brought the better part of a 750ml Glenlivet along in a Lipton iced tea bottle. Figured I’d have something in the cabin that way, but I barely got into it though with so much going on. I do think it’s interchangable with Glenmorangie as a great pour.

I do believe that taste is Scotch has a bit of genetic play. There's something about the taste of Glenlivet that no other single malt can match for me. Oh sure, MacCallan 18 is smooth as silk, but it does not have the complexity, nose or flavor of the Glenlivet 12 (to me, anyway).
