Strange thing on image #2, why is the information not in metric? Kilograms instead of pounds, centimeters instead of inches? I can’t find where Kenya ever used IUs (Imperial Units) and most of the UK only uses IUs for traffic signs, not this type of documentation.
n the 1970s, most British Commonwealth nations changed from the Imperial system of units to the metric system.
Gr. Britain didn’t even begin planning for the metric system until 1965.
If this is a copy of an original, it would be in IUs.
Kenya converted to metric in 1967
The UK government didn't start making the push to transition to the metric system unil after Obama was born. In fact, the UK still hasn't completed the transition.
The use of IU is actually in favor of authenticity.
You better hurry and get your phone call to Judge Land! LOL
I don't recall England using kilos, kilometers, and centimeters in the 1960s. Apparently the "metrication" process in the UK did not really get underway until the 1970s. Don't forget they were using pounds, shillings, and pence until 1971.
Not sure what you mean by image #2, but when I looked at the image of the supposed Kenyan BC, what struck me was not the weight but the date. (The dates are in American rather than British style).
They would use what ever the UK used at the time.
