If you are born in the US you are naturally a citizen. What the founding fathers wanted for the CIC is to be "Natural Born Citizen" being born in the US of parents that are citizens. Meaning both parents are citizens at the time of the child's birth. What you are suggesting is that somehow "people" checked all this out and found that is was ok! The major problem, and I was guilty myself until I educated myself in these matters, is that these "people" don't understand the Constitution as evident by recent interviews of high ranking congress "people" when asked to define NBC. When a non-American citizen can be included on eight states' ballots, you know damned well there was no oversight to 'make sure candidates were natural born citizens'.

Roger Calero, a green card holding resident alien convicted felon - was allowed to run - and was on the ballot in 5 states.

Roger Calero was allowed to be a communist Socialist Workers Party candidate for POTUS on the election ballots of most states, yet he is a naturalizeed citizen of the U.S., born in Nicaragua, and certainly not eligible to the Office of the President in acordancde with the Constitution under any conceivable circumstances. So, there is direct and incontrovertible proof THEY, whoever THEY are, certainly can and do allow ineligible candidates to be on the election ballots.

How do you suppose it looks when the GOP and/or members of the GOP are complicit in allowing multiple ineligible candidates to participate in the elections. Do not forget that the GOP elected Chester Arthur as Vice President and permitted him to succeed Garfiled as President while Chester Arthur was no more eligible to serve as VPOTUS or POTUS than Barack Hussein Obama Jr. aka Barry Dunham, aka Barry Soetoto, etc. How do you suppose it looks when any political party and its members permit gross violatons of the U.S. Constitution without lawful and meaningful opposition and resistance?
