Has nobody actually looked, in person, at the microfilm of the newspaper announcements? Did all this hubbub grow from one anonymous post on the Texas Darlin’ blog? Has anyone queried the morgue of the Honolulu newspapers to see if one might access original copies? They likely keep a bound set.
Do any mainland city libraries have Honolulu newspapers on microfilm?

I am almost sure I read way earlier in the thread that a couple of Freepers went to HI during the election and made the library rounds and had no luck. I don’t remember why there was no result. Anybody remember this?
Ecentually you are correct. But from a logical point if a hard copy were there I think it would be waved around for al to see. The image on the internet is an image on the internet.
