I was reading Frank Marshall Davis' FBI file Link and came up with some interesting information. First of all he fathered a set of twin daughters. Don't have the date because it was redacted. Secondly, he and his wife Helen Canfield, were having a great deal of marital trouble in 1957 between May and November and actually separated and she was openly seeeing a musician at that time. He told friends that he was going to divorce her, and he stopped writing his regular column for the Longshoremen's Union during that period.

Eventually they reconciled, but they eventually did divorce in 1970. During the period when they were separated, Davis expressed an interest in purchasing the newspaper where he was writing his column.

Coincidental that the divorced the same year Obama Jr. returned to HI?

Possible that the Davises used sex games (threesomes, seduction, nude photography, etc.) to enhance their failing relationship in 1960?

Re: Frank Marshall Davis & Helen Canfield. When they were estranged in 1957, FMD told his friends that he was going to divorce Helen because she was “psychotic”. I forgot to include that tid bit in my earlier note. This is from an FBI file. Link above.
