How was the first name spelled in that Honolulu newspaper story about Sr. just before he left for Harvard?
"Obama has one maternal half-sister, one paternal half-sister and at least three surviving paternal half-brothers. Two other men were raised as the sons of Barack Obama, Sr. although in his memoir Dreams from My Father, Obama wrote that several relatives openly stated that Barack Obama, Sr. was not their biological father. [4]"
There is a note [4] attached to that comment, but I can't find the reference [4].
Fred nerks would be the one to ask about pictures and stories on HI regarding SR.
This is the only story from the paper that I have seen about Mr. BaraK Obama in the Honolulu Advertiser that describes his life in and exit from Hawaii.

It is this article that describes how he pronounced his name. It also says that Ann pronounced it correctly too if we can believe what it says. It references two other articles about him. One is from when he arrived titled “Young Men from Kenya, Jordan and Iran Here to Study at U.H.” and the other that appeared the day he left Hawaii on June 22, 1962. Perhaps we can find those two but I’m not sure how to do it.
The article at the link is the one that tells us no one except Neil Ambercrombie remembers seeing him with Ann. It also relies quite heavily on passages from “Dreams” and at the end speculates on the idea of Ann going to Cambridge to meet “her husband” after visiting the friends in Seattle. Of course we know now that never happened and couldn’t have even been possible in 1961 because he wasn’t there.
