Scroll down until you find discussion of Frank Marshall Davis His book was published under a pseudonym -- Bob Greene, I think. At least it was Greene -- don't remember the first name. He was confronted about authorship of the book and finally admitted that he had written it later in life. So did the publisher (out of San Diego) admit the true authorship.
I think Fred Nerks has done a lot of research about the timing of the book. I bow to superior research conclusions, whatever they are.
I was under the impression that the seduced girl was Jamaican and it was his first wife involved, not the one he was married to in HI.
