I sometimes wonder, given their mimicking of Obama’s allegations that his opponents are “lying” all the time, if those who think the parents of a president must be at least a naturalized U.S. citizen are, in fact, representatives of Obama and his minions. After all, they use his tactics of calling their opponents liars, and I note with interest that neither you nor I use Obama’s tactics. I am not aware of anyone else agreeing with me other than you, by the way.

I’d be interested in hearing more about the Hawaii AG idea anytime you hear anything. There are probably political issues that are operating to prevent the sensible thing from happening, though, which is discouraging.

If you are wondering why there is reluctance on the part of Republicans to press this issue (I am inferring that from your words, and I could be wrong about your meaning) there are 3 main reasons:

1. They are afraid of a race war breaking out.

2. They are afraid to be embarrassed in case the allegations (no BBC) are proven untrue.

3. They are afraid that even if proven true and even if the inner cities remain calm(doubtful) the powers that be and the voters will do nothing about it -- much like they treated the Lewinsky scandal.

JMHO, but that does not mean that it is the right way to treat this allegation. It should be proven right or wrong. Layed on the table and examined. Sent to document experts for vetting. But that's just me. I'm a blck and white sort of person, no pun intended.

My guess is that there is more political “hay” to be mowed out of not disclosing the vault copy birth certificate than there is from revealing it.
My guess is based on the statement issued by the Director of the Hawaii Health Department. She is a political appointee of the current Republican Governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle. I quote her: “I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.”
