Yes, you have me wondering there also. It would have been a simple matter to have altered the book number and the two numbers - I believe 44b and 5733 the page number. This was not done however.

Are you being serious because it should be staring everybody right in the face.

If you're on the left and wanting to make the birthers look even crazier than the media has portrayed them, you put out a semi-authentic-looking birth certificate based on a real one from a different country. You can then mock the birthers if they fall for it when you reveal it. The fact that they got Taitz to act loony as hell on MSNBC made it even better.
