This is completely nuts. Over 4600 posts to a thread which begins with nothing but yet another in a long parade of evidence-free claims that some self-promoter has come up with “proof” that Obama is not eligible to be POTUS! Did any of the 9/11 threads even get this long?
I really worry about the direction FR is heading in. There’s nowhere near this much interest in Obama’s health care proposal, which is 100% real and could do serious and irreparable harm to our nation.
This is the process. If this is a rabbit trail, it's a rabbit trail. What, better to dismiss a question that nobody has adequately answered, least of all the man himself?
For the record, I remain agnostic on the BC issue (though this development is tempting). I suggest reading the Andrew McCarthy (hope I got his name right) piece in NRO a few days ago. It really isn't about the birth certificate, ultimately. It's about the president's accountability to the people and to the constitution.
The very onslaught of obfuscation from the those who say the birthers are fruitcakes is enough to demand an open mind.
Man the phones tomorrow, use faxzero.com for 2 free faxes per day contacting in-state and DC offices. Do it every day and get friends, relatives, neighbors and others doing it.
Also go to townhall meetings and bring everyone you know especially seniors.
Also stop whining about the BC.
And no where in the history of our nation was the White House hijacked by a foreigner. That alone could destroy our nation, and is also why it is one of the requirements to be president.
Free Republic is very good at analyzing documents.
If I’m not mistaken, Rathergate was exposed at least in part by people here working in a manner similar to this thread.
A jpg of what appears to be a piece of paper, supposedly a Kenyan document from 1964, comes along, and the collective analytical power of Free Republic is applied to the task. And well.
We’re doing a pretty good job here. I think right now, the consensus is “we don’t know, and we’d really like to see some verified documents from Mombasa in Kenya from February 1964”
I post articles that hammer away at Obamacare practically every day and so do several others. And they arouse strong interest.
I agree, we have got to remain focused on this healthcare sham. Look at Fox news this morning, the yelling going on at the town hall meeting.
