Who said he took her there? Stanley may have gone to Kenya to try to work her way into the family. Hanging out at the beach with a 7 to 8 month pregnant lady probably isn’t fun. Obama’s aunt said she was at the Hospital so Stanley may have been visiting Obama’s relatives in Mombasa!

It would be impossible and sheer LUNACY for anyone to speculate about the possibility of a day trip by Barack Sr. and Dunham ... who could know the whats and whys of a day

Also, Barack Sr. had high hopes of being involved in the next chapter of Kenya’s new government. There are any # of logical reasons why he could’ve been in one of its largest cities, Mombasa.
NO theories or speculations are known with certainty nor can any be conclusively be ruled out and discarded, no matter HOW MUCH someone wants to quash ANY and EVERY theory.

I have questions about Mombasa - do we even know that there were any Obama relatives in Mombasa? It's quite a distance from Nyang’oma Kogelo, in a different province - Coast Province vs. Nyanza Province. Obama Sr. and relatives were Luo, who live mostly in western Kenya. Mombasa is eastern Kenya.
I haven't been able to trace where the Mombasa idea came from, unless it was Bishop McRae. Nairobi, the capitol, is much closer to Nyang’oma Kogelo.
