You keep assuming that to report on something is to declare it authentic. That is wrong. The existence of this document, and the fact that it is not obviously a forgery as Charles Johnson so glibly declared without any discussion as to how he draws this conclusion, is big. To big to say, lets wait for a couple of months for all uncertainty to be removed. This is like the fifth time I have said this.. so its boring me.
This needs to be reported as I said several posts ago,
"A document has been found that purports to prove that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. All efforts are being bent to determine the authenticity of this document as the consequences of being wrong are grave."
Not reporting this is improper because people need to be aware that this exists and that it is not unconnected to the stories of the Presidents relatives who claim that the events recorded in this document actually occurred.
We will all see how this shakes out. The Blogosphere will deconstruct this document just like they have many others and check all that can be verified by the means at hand. Once this is done, and no one shows it to be a obvious fraud, ala Rathergate, then Hot Air will report it by tomarrow disparagingly. This has been hitting peoples email boxes across the country, 3 and 4 copies, the thread is growing by more than 5,000 views per hour. Its the hottest thead I can remember at FR though I am sure folks with better memories could tick off a few more. This is the quiet few minutes before the explosion.
Why else make a fuss? It's authenticity is key.
And we are now done.
One wonders if these “moderates” that want to just wait for everything to be completly verified prior to even being discussed.........also ventured into D.Kos, DU & HuffPo to quell the 100 rumors and lies about S.Palin during the election run.
