No, the point is that supposedly at the time of his birth his American mother was too young to transmit US citizenship unless he was born on US soil. If that’s so and if he were proven to have been born in Kenya, then short of otherwise applying for and becoming a US citizen he still wouldn’t be one and he wouldn’t have been eligible for the US Senate-because citizenship was required.
I’m only going on what I’ve read, however, and can’t vouch for whether being born to an unwed 17yo American abroad would have indeed deprived him of automatic US citizenship.
