It’s too far back for me to remember exactly, I think I recall he was identified by a freeper as the son of Charles T Payne, but I can’t be certain. The image came without an identifying caption.

She had her baby and was talking about her husband, and what life held in store for her. She seemed so confident and self-assured and relaxed. She was leaving the next day to fly on to Boston.”
But as Botkin and others later remembered it, something happened in Cambridge, and Stanley Ann returned to Seattle. They saw her a few more times, and they thought she even tried to enroll in classes at the University of Washington, before she packed up and returned to Hawaii.

Note the date...it was written just before Rick Anderson wrote in October that she was living in Seattle, and that was followed by Charlette Le Fevre’s discovery of the listing for Anna Obama in the Seattle directory.
Now. what’s really fascinating is, Susan Blake sounding so convinced she was going to Boston. The Kenyan didn’t leave Hawaii until June 22, 1962. Are we to take it that Stanley Ann took the child she showed to Susan, to Boston? In August, 1961?
I wonder who was in Boston...
In this long article by Maraniss, the quotes from Susan Blake don’t include the reportedly previous statement she made, that she never saw Stanley Ann again. I’m thinking the Maraniss article gave rise to the comment by Rick Anderson, which gave rise in turn to Charlette Le Fevre searching the Seattle directories, and ultimately making that telephone call to Mary, who had babysat for Anna Obama in January 1961.
And once Charlette told Mary she had babysat zero, it become history.
But who was Anna? And where was Stanley Ann Dunham...
Who was in Boston in the early ‘60s? Ruth Beatrice Baker, for one. Omar was there when BHO Sr. was at Harvard. Zeituni popped in, too.
