However, I think Hugh's genuine concern is he believes the Fair Tax is a losing political position. And I agree it is very easy to demagogue the Fair Tax. In fact Hugh proves this with some of his really bad arguments against the Fair Tax.
The Democrats hammer any Republican who was a cosponsor of the Fair Tax with dishonest ads.
