Mitt reminds me too much of my former home state Senator, Gordon Smith. He exhibits too much willingness to compromise in situations where there is no apparent reason for it...His standards appear too fluid and flexible, and he is barely to the right of John McCain - (that is not a compliment).

I’ll take Palin and....DeMint, or Thompson, or Pence, or McClintock, or Jindal...

In fact almost ANY combination of two out of the aforementioned six will do nicely.

Mitt would be a decent choice for....Commerce Secretary (the job that Judd Gregg just backed out of), or else Treasury Sec.

It would be a natural fit to his best talents.

But he would have to order his team to leave “our Beauteous Sarah” (as Ann Coulter calls her) ALONE. Otherwise - Siberia for Mitt.

Look at his recent record as Gov of Massachusetts. The only reason he is trying to establish himself as a conservative is that if he ran on HIS record as Gov, he wouldn't stand a chance among conservatives.
