Mitt the Twit has never shown leadership. He’s been an excellent manager but being a manager does not imply that he leads. Managers manage things; leaders lead people. The president does not have to be an economist or a former military member or have run a company. A president has to be a person who leads people. The president is the head of the executive branch and has to have the talent to choose the right economic, military and other advisors who will advise him and who will carry out his directions and implement his decisions. The advisors formulate specific policy from presidential guidelines and then the president decides, based on his staff inputs whether the policy will work or not. Reagan knew the true meaning of being the president: provide the general policies, direction and oversight to well-qualified staff and inspire that staff and the american people to move in the right directions. This is the big difference between leadership and management. BO Plenty is a would-be manager who rules by fiat because he is the manager. Reagan was a leader who governed by leading and encouraging his staff and the people to take the right direction. Romney is no leader, he’s a self-promoting corporate image, his goal is power, he will sell out his inner circle and party as well as the american people to gain power which is no different than BO.
