LOL! It is funny how the usual suspects come out of the woodwork at the same time. My guess is they are waiting to get their talking points fax or emails.

Anyone want to bet? I say one will pop up in 20 minutes or less.

As HooMa says they will be very quiet. ;-)

It IS strange that they haven’t shown up yet. I thought that maybe they needed to decipher the legalese but that wouldn’t stop them from the usual, “this is a waste of time, we have to move on” crap. Maybe they really are organized and they are being prepped on how to respond to changing circumstances.

You said — “LOL! It is funny how the usual suspects come out of the woodwork at the same time. My guess is they are waiting to get their talking points fax or emails.

LOL! If this is indicative of the type of thinking that goes along with analyzing the data in these threads, it’s no wonder this issue is going nowhere...

There are just some posts that jump out at ya, and get you to laughing... This is one of them.

As for me, sometimes I’ve not even around Free Republic for days at a time and then I catch up on reading right on down the list of articles that have been posted. Only the ones that are interesting for various reasons (and that includes the “Obama Derangement Syndrome” as being interesting too, along with my other personally interesting subjects...) get attention, and then even fewer get posts.

Way back when (long before the election), I posted against Obama and raised some of the same questions about showing some documentation for purposes of proving the issue. But, I could clearly see that there was a “hole” in the vetting system that did not require *specific* legal documentation, other than simply following the same normal procedures used by prior candidates. And then, when the election passed, I also lost. Then I realized that there are a lot more for Obama, than I ever thought there was before (which definitely was not me... LOL...).

The hole in the vetting system is why I’m supporting the bill in Oklahoma to require specific documentation to prove a candidate’s eligibility according to the Constitution. Also, Arizona is dong the same thing.

And so, at first, these threads were interesting and informative and had good discussions when we were running up to the election. The election pretty much threw all of this stuff out the door, so to speak. It was very clear by then, that this issue was going nowhere, at all. And it is still very apparent from all the results thus far.

That’s why several conservatives and the conservative media has labeled this “Obama Derangement Syndrome”. Now, at this current time, my interest is anthropological, as in human behavior. I want to see how long it is before people face up to the reality of the election and get into alternative methods of opposing policies that need to be opposed. For some, I think this will continue (for them) all the way through the opening day of Obama’s Presidential Library... :-) ...

For what I thought was serious discussion on Free Republic, has turned into wishful thinking and irrational thinking. One example of that is that Obama is escorted “off property” (of the White House) with a court order and a Marshal serving it... (now that’s a hoot!). Yes, there are some who will come on here and “defend that methodology” — which to me stresses the “derangement” part of the syndrome.

Also, the other “derangement” part of this syndrome is always “looking for the trolls” who some are sure come from DU, are Obots and Obama supporters — regardless of all the information that can be secured here from prior postings and ideas from a poster. The so-called “conspiracy” is so widespread, that it (apparently in the minds of the deranged) extends to those who have been conservative all along.

So, in reading that comment quoted above, all this becomes so, so apparent, as to what is going on...

It’s like a car wreck. You keep looking at it, amazed that something can get so twisted, having been apparently “straight” before...

[ ... oh, and by the way (for the conspiracy minded...) I don’t think any of those so-called Obots have come on here, yet... ]
