CHAMA, NM - Several meandering V-shaped UFOs near a mountain slope here turned up on a woman's digital photos. Three photos shot with a 21 megapixel camera caught multiple crafts approaching in the first frame, one craft in frame two moving close to the ground while the others take positions in the sky, and then frame three shows all of the crafts moving out of the area.

We shall see.

It’s . . . I guess . . . predictable . . . to see the sweetness bubbling over again.

Here’s the link to an updated Hollyweed and UFO article . . .

http://www.earthfiles.com/news.php?ID=1507&category=Environment

With a beginning quote by Steven Speilburg . . .

Updated - Part 1: CIA, UFOs and Hollywood

© 2008 by Linda Moulton Howe

“If NASA took the time to write me a 20-page letter,
then I knew there must be something happening.
When they read the [Close Encounters] script, they got very
angry and felt that it was a film that would be dangerous.”

– Steven Spielberg, Director,

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

December 17, 2008 Stafford, Staffordshire, England - The Day the Earth Stood Still re-make with Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connolly has been released this December 2008 to enthusiastic crowds. Fifty-seven years ago on September 28, 1951, the original movie was first released in black-and-white starring Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal. The story is about a humanoid alien visitor named Klaatu who comes to Earth in a silver disc with his robot, Gort, to issue humankind a warning. The original screenwriter, Edmund H. North, based the script on a short story by Harry Bates entitled “Farewell to the Master,” published in the October 1940 issue of Astounding Science-Fiction.

After demonstrating his ability to stop all machines and electric grids powered by magnetic fields, Klaatu warns the people of Earth to either abandon warfare and peacefully join other nations in the cosmos or be destroyed, adding, “The decision rests with you.” Then Klaatu and Gort enter the spaceship and leave Earth.

Interesting article.

Of Course, given that the naysayers are convinced that they exist to give God orders and everyone else cowpies . . . we can expect their usual irrational denial stuff in response.

More excerpted lines from the article about Hollyweed and UFO’s . . . this involving Disney . . .

http://www.earthfiles.com/news.php?ID=1507&category=Environment

Walt Disney and U. S. Air Force

Ward Kimball, the Oscar-winning animator, revealed this story in 1979. He was talking about a project in the mid-1950s where the U. S. Air Force approached Walt Disney himself to make an animated educational documentary on the subject of UFOs, flying saucers. Disney had worked with the USAF and military previously during the Second World War and he had a very close relationship with the Department of Defense. He produced propaganda shorts for the military during WWII and they were quite cozy, really.

1954, Walt Disney holding on to V-2 rocket model while Dr. Werhner von Braun holds model of XR-1 plane. Dr. von Braun was then Chief of the Guided Missile Development Operation Division at the U. S. Army’s Ballistic Missile Agency in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. In the 1950s, Dr. von Braun worked with the Disney Studio as a technical director on three films about space exploration for television. Man in Space aired on ABC-TV, March 9, 1955; Man and the Moon also aired in 1955; Mars and Beyond was televised on December 4, 1957. Photo source NACA, National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics.

So, according to Kimball, Disney went along with this deal. According to Kimball, the purpose of the documentary was to help acclimatize the American public to the existence of extraterrestrials. That would seem to be a departure from the USAF’s previous efforts to more along the debunking side of things.

So, what happened was the Air Force, according to Kimball, offered Disney real footage of UFOs for use in his documentary. And Disney started to draw conceptual designs for this UFO documentary. But at the last minute, the USAF decided to pull out and said they would no longer provide the footage. When that happened, Kimball said he challenged the official USAF liaison to the documentary film project who was a Colonel. This Colonel allegedly told Kimball, ‘There was indeed plenty of UFO footage, but that neither Kimball nor anyone else was going to get access to it.’ So, of course, the project was abandoned.

DID KIMBALL HAVE ANY INSIGHT ABOUT WHAT CHANGED ON THE GOVERNMENT’S SIDE TO PULL FILM THAT WAS GOING TO ITS LONG-TIME ALLY, WALT DISNEY?

As the story stands, no, there was no further information given about the reasons why the USAF pulled the footage.

THAT IS MY EXPERIENCE. THAT IS BOB EMENEGGER’S EXPERIENCE AND MAYBE OTHERS THAT WE DON’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT WHERE WE ARE APPROACHED BY SOMEBODY REPRESENTING THEMSELVES WITH THE GOVERNMENT WHO SAYS THAT FOOTAGE OF REAL UFOS WILL BE RELEASED TO EACH OF US FOR A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT PROGRAMS. THEN AT THE LAST MINUTE, NOTHING IS FORTHCOMING.

Yeah, there seems to be a pattern here. The Ward Kimball story I just spoke about was, as far as I’m aware, the first time the USAF had offered supposedly real UFO footage to a filmmaker only to suddenly, without explanation, withdraw that offer. It would happen again in 1971, when filmmaker Robert Emenegger was approached by the USAF through his production partner, Alan Sandler.

[ Editor’s Note: Robert Emenegger, Grey Advertising, and Allan F. Sandler, Sandler Institutional Films, Inc., Los Angeles, produced a 1976 documentary entitled, UFOS: It Has Begun, that allegedly contains a few seconds of actual military footage of an egg-shaped UFO flying in the sky at Holloman AFB. Emenegger also authored a book entitled, UFOS: Past, Present and Future © 1974 by Sandler Institutional Films, Inc. and published by Ballantine Books. For more information about the Emenegger and Sandler production efforts and an offer of similar UFO footage at Holloman AFB presented to me for a Home Box Office documentary in 1983, please see my 2-volume book, Glimpses of Other Realities and my first book An Alien Harvest in the Earthfiles Shop.]

WHY all the hostility?

All the super self-righteous indignation and virulent hostility???

Where does that come from? Daddy wasn’t around the early years? Maybe he was too harsh? Too demanding? Too perfectionistic?

And quit flinging the poo of Art Bell regulars, ATS, and the All “News” Web. ;)

I think you have it very arsebackwards.

You have been coming on the UFO threads for years with great self-righteous, arrogant-to-the-max hostility from the beginning.

Who am I to mislabel someone hell-bent on being a harsh, self-righteous, arrogant enemy to the 150 folks who enjoy such threads?

Why don’t black people see UFOs (A little comic relief)

On April 16, 1987, in a small rural town on the outskirts of Mariposa County, California, a small band of UFOs was seen by 99.9 percent of the residents in the balmy night sky. They were able to faithfully recall the shape and movements of the mysterious crafts with incredible uniformity. “A cluster of small silent black triangles flying in formation” was the way most of them put it. The local news reported the event, the townspeople discussed it daily for nearly a year, and even a few major newspapers covered the story. Most were impressed by the clarity of the recollections. Some were blown away by the grainy amateur video. A few were taken by the astounding 99.9 percent close encounter rate. I was more interested in the .1 percent that didn’t see the UFO. That .1 percent was named Clerow Mims: the only black resident of the city.

How come brothas don’t see UFOs? I have asked this question for the last thirty years and have yet to stumble upon any satisfactory answer. UFOs have been sighted almost everywhere on earth for the last sixty years and I can’t recall even one sighting by a brotha. How is this possible? Is it a conspiracy on the part of the UFOs? Are aliens racist? Or is it something about brothas themselves that don’t allow them to have this experience? After numerous interviews with experts and exhaustive research, I’ve arrived at a few possible theories.

History
Brothas automatically block out anything or anybody that might want to take them for a ride on a ship for an indeterminate amount of time.

Melanin
Many ufologists have theorized that we are able to see aliens because of a light signal that is emitted from the ship and is reflected off our skin. This makes them visible to the human eye. Unfortunately, blacks have an abundance of melanin in their skin, which acts like stealth technology and absorbs the signal, rendering UFOs invisible.

The upside of this phenomenon is that light-skinned brothas might have a better chance of seeing aliens than dark-skinned.

Street cred
Brothas could be afraid to report UFO sightings for fear of losing street cred. Street cred is hard to come by. Many times you have to get shot to obtain a decent amount of street cred. Would you really want all of that erased just because you saw something that you can’t explain flying in the sky? I don’t think so.

Redundancy
Most people think if aliens arrived on earth, they would take over and rule us all. In other words, they would become the Man. That’s all brothas need, so what’s the point? They may as well have spotted a cop.

It’s not a big enough conspiracy
Alien life, as a conspiracy theory, is nothing compared to some of the shit brothas come up with. In fact, some black liberationist religions teach that white people are aliens who inhabited the earth thousands of years ago (I’m not making this up).

Brothas are just that unlucky
Most brothas accept this theory and chalk it up to the same odds they have of winning the lottery: slim to none.

Brothas might actually be aliens
Not a bad theory. It would explain a lot.

Brothas are afraid of aliens
Some aliens have been called snake people for their reptilian-like features. Everybody knows brothas are afraid of snakes, so this theory carries a high degree of probablility.

Brothas don’t like hospitals
What does this have to do with aliens? Simple. Almost all alien abduction stories include lying on an operating table and being cut open. Brothas won’t even go to a hospital to pick up a paycheck, let alone for surgery. And when you include the fact that these alien operations seem to always end with an unpleasant anal probe, you can count brothas out.

It’s a government conspiracy
It’s possible that brothas have seen UFOs and have reported them but the government, for whatever reason, has covered it up. It’s not too far fetched. The government is already covering up the existence of aliens, why wouldn’t they cover up the record of brothas reporting their existence?

Though all of these theories are legitimate, it’s the last one that intrigues me the most. What if there is a governmental cover-up at work? What if there are fantastic stories of brothas and UFOs that the government just didn’t want us to know about? I don’t know if these questions can ever be answered satisfactorily. But one thing is for sure, if brothas have seen strange lights in the sky that were not police helicopters, I’m going to make sure the world knows.
