But the COLB linked above states his birthplace as Honolulu which would not have been done if he wasn't born there.
There is a PDF file of the Keyes complaint that was posted last night (actually very early this morning EST). That document appears professionally drafted and well thought out. I would recommend reading it before labeling folks who have legitimate questions that remain unanswered.
The Berg suit was tossed on a technicality (standing to sue), not on its merits.
Post 23 in this thread correctly points out there are multiple problems that Obama needs to address, not just his COLB.
The suit does not appear to be frivolous.
Here is the critical datte that needs to be shown by inspection of the ORIGINAL vault copy of the birth certificate:
THE DATE THAT THE BIRTH WAS REGISTERED.
If this date is BEFORE the date that Ann Dunham showed up in Lake Washington with Obama in her arms asking for help in changing diapers, that would indicate that she had traveled to Washington from Hawaii, and perhaps the episode can be ended. On the other hand if the birth was registered some days LATER than the date Ann Dunham showed up in Washington, it is a reasonable surmise that she was on her way back to Hawaii (from somewhere else) and lends credibility to the notion that Obama wasNOT born in Hawaii.
Let’s all get beyond the notion that those of us who smell a rat here are loons. We are not. We are simply asking that this matter be put to rest by the production of best evidence, just as would be required by any court.
The fact that best evidence has NOT been produced for inspection is itself reason for suspicion, but it is not determinative.
Let’s just say that there is a timeline here that needs explanation, and none has been forthcoming.
