Hawaii stepped up to plate and sealed his Birth Certificate and stated he was born in Hawaii close to the election, it was on the news. The officials in Hawaii defended the birth certificate from Hawaii, and this issue is dead. The governor of Hawaii is Republican and friend of Sarah Palin, so if this was truly issue of being born somewhere else...she would have stood up and defended it. They need to give this issue up, it’s a non starter.
They never stated he was born in Hawaii, just that they had a b.c. for him and it would be sealed and not available. How does that put this issue to rest?
“if this was truly issue of being born somewhere else...she would have stood up and defended it.”
There are so many ways this could be wrong, you need to just dump this premise.
Actually Hawaii only stated that they have his Certificate. Hawaii did not verify *where* he was born.
Fukino yesterday issued a statement saying that she and the registrar of vital statistics personally inspected Obama’s birth certificate and found it to be valid.
Fukino, however, repeated the Health Department’s position that state law prohibits her or any other officials from actually releasing the birth certificate, which Obama’s campaign says shows he was born in Honolulu on Aug. 4, 1961.

This part of your statement is false. No such statement was ever made by Governor Lingle or any other official of the State of Hawaii.
You owe it to yourself to check it out. You will find I am right.
What Lingle has said:
"She said voting for Obama would put the safety of the countrys children in the hands of someone we hardly know. (She also added that despite Obamas touting he is from Hawaii, she has never met him and he has never called me on the phone.)"
Title: "Hawaii governor says nation wouldnt be safe under Obama (says Obama "touts" he is from Hawaii)

Lingle does have reservations about his origin.
