If McCain had run a stable campaign and worked to get everyone on board, he could have won. He’s too invested in keeping people off balance. It paid off with Sarah Palin, but to win he needed all the help he could get. He wanted to do all it his way and it cost him the election.
I disagree; McCain was a long shot at best. I will not trash McCain. Without his bold choice, we would never had gotten Sarah. For that he is to be congratulated. But for the future he will no longer a Presidential player. Sarah is the future of the conservative movement.
