Good question and we actually have a real good answer. We did think about it and were tempted. However, we have a brand new addition to our family, a little girl, born just 4 weeks ago. I am active duty military and also a preacher. We lead real busy lives. We think the added stress of trying to teach them on top of having an infant would be too much (plus I am going to be gone TDY about 2 months through August). We think we need some time to get mom and baby ajusted before we start this undertaking.
But...we were seriously considering it.

Abeka video school, BJUP satellite, and AOP Switched On Schoolhouse can all relieve the teaching chores while doing an excellent job...

We think the added stress of trying to teach them on top of having an infant would be too much Unless you were going to take the "running and reading" approach - "Here's your library card. What, you're tired of reading? Then start pounding the pavement!" - that's probably wise.
