And speaking of the Bible references, I have to say I didn't really like how that was done. The holidays, the churches and cemeteries, the occasional "Thank God!" and yet nobody, Muggle or magical, is observant of any religion. I found it very inconsistent. At the same time, it's probably very reflective of the state of the church in Britain.

Consistency, they say, is a bugaboo of small minds. :-)
Little things like that just bother me, like a dripping faucet: Why do wizards have flush toilets, but not pencils, for example? Why do they have radios, but not televisions or telephones?
(I know, just shut up and clean something ...)
